Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Transport
Responsibilities
Responsible for handling entire Cabs Compliance at the location assigned to him.
Cab/Driver registration is compulsory to furnish the duty @ Genpact Wheels.
No registrations of Driver/Cab in case mandatory & contractual documents are incomplete.
Vendors are not allowed to use un-registered vehicles/drivers. In case observed that new vehicle doing duty without registration, cancel the duty and impose the penalty as per the penalty clauses of the agreement while obtaining acknowledgment from the vendor representative.
In case of a new vehicle introduced by the vendor, he will check the vehicle condition and Documents as per the standard vehicle induction checklist only for issuing Genpact identification sticker.
In case of any exceptional request by the team, understand the requirement and provide a suitable solution or take further instruction from NCR Compliance Lead.
Maintain the Master Records for registered vehicles/drivers & escorts in the efmfm portal.
Share the daily status update on active/In-active vehicles/drivers as per the efmfm portal
Keep a close track on expiry & timely renewal of mandatory & contractual documents for vehicle & driver as trigged by the efmfm tool
Ensure to provide approved/active cab & driver list to backend team on daily basis.
No Cab/Driver should be on hold without compliance lead information.
Non-critical parameter un-compliant - within 01 working days time to vendor supervisor however non-completion after timeline, impose penalty as per the agreement while obtaining acknowledgment from vendor representative.
Critical parameter un-compliant - Cab or driver on Hold till clearance from Compliance. Also, immediately inform the concerned vendor/supervisor about the same to arrange the alternative vehicle for the concerned cab route.
Work closely with the EHS team during their site audit and coordinate with the suppliers concerned for any observation/feedback from EHS for timely closure on open items.
In case RC is not available due to any reason then (Challan/paper lost) then Challan copy or FIR is required for considering the cab to operate under fleet.
Monitor & share the weekly status update on the CNG fleet
Responsible to inspect each vehicle as per the defined compliance checklist. Any non-compliance cab/driver liquidated damages will be applicable as per the agreement while obtaining acknowledgment from vendor representative.
Cabs/Drivers compliances need to be checked physically twice in a month
Team members need to ensure to highlight major violations to compliance lead on real-time information for appropriate action.
Responsible to update daily cab/Driver compliance status on Transportal.
Responsible to share non-compliance cab/driver status with concerned vendors and transport team.
Cabs should be GPS and panic button enabled.
Under no circumstances shall the vehicle should not be more than 03 years old or have run more than 200000 Kms (for medium capacity vehicle), 150000 Kms (for small vehicle) whichever is earlier. Any violation will lead to liquidated damages as per the agreement.
The vendor cannot poach any vehicle or employee staff (supervisor/driver) from any of the other vendor sides. A minimum gap of three calendar months will be accepted for change of any vehicle or manpower from one vendor to another.
Each team member is responsible to maintain a complete record of compliance-related data/issues as per the vendor assigned
Always carry important contact numbers list like Hospital/Police/Fire for immediate assistance.
Responsible to approve/reject the cab/driver as per the compliance status.
Team Members will be posted at the main gate to verify the Compliance status of on-duty vehicles.
In case cab/driver running with missing critical documents (specified at Cab hold process) duty cancellation, hold the driver and imposed penalty as per the agreement while obtaining acknowledgment from vendor representative.
Responsible to send all compliance-related reports as per the scheduled Daily/Weekly/Monthly to the compliance lead.
Maintain the compliance penalty data and share it with the Compliance lead on daily basis.
