What is the Senior IS Analyst responsible for
Be part of a dynamic Security Governance, Risk & Compliance team for a global financial services firm. Play an important role in our Vendor Security Risk Management Program, support regulatory compliance due diligence activities in collaboration with other teams.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Senior IS Analyst
- Coordinating Vendor Security Audits
- Conduct vendor security audits for compliance with our firm s information security policies, standards, and controls
- Identify vendor security issues/non-compliance and recommend appropriate remediation activities to resolve them
- Coordinate vendor security audits with the Enterprise Vendor Management group
- Communicate status/progress to business stakeholders
- Coordinating Responses to Security Due Diligence Questionnaires
- Respond to regulatory security due diligence questions received by business units globally
- Respond to request for RFP security content from sales teams to develop proposals to win business for the firm
- Coordinate the approval of data transfers outside the firm
- Respond to requests for transferring confidential data to vendors based on the review of successfully completed vendor security audits
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful
- 6-10 years of industry experience in IT Audit, Vendor Management, Third Party Security Risk Management, or other Information Security Compliance functions.
- Subject Matter Expertise in ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800.30, COBIT 5, FFIEC, and SEC Regulation S-P industry standards, frameworks, and regulations for Information Security and IT Risk Management.
- Experience in IT Governance, Compliance and Risk management processes and Tools (RSA Archer, OneTrust or similar)
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and related IT Service Management processes
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
- Preferred professional qualifications with certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, etc.)
