- Minimum 6+ years of software design and development experience with distributed highly scalable systems, with at least 2+ years in Lead Engineering role
- Hands-on development in object oriented languages as well as functional programming skills with Java 8/ Scala
- Experience in designing Big Data applications using Hadoop or Spark framework
- Develop and deploy highly scalable and efficient solutions in AWS ? Build out systems to monitor deployed workflows and alert/handle failures
- Clearly document the design and code in wiki ? Effective unit testing with JUnit and mock objects.
- Experience with build, Continuous Integration & Deployment, and unit-testing technologies including JUnit.
- Familiar with structured code reviews, e.g Gerrit, Crucible and automated deployment with Docker.
