Piping Layout Engineer - Chennai - Brunel

We have an opening for Piping Layout Engineer for our client a leading oil gas company to join their growing team. The contract would be 6 months contract on Brunel Payroll. The job location would be Chennai.

• Responsible for Quality, Budget and Schedule for activities related to piping materials;

• Issue Project Piping Material Specification;

• Perform Pipe Wall Thickness calculations;

• Issue Technical Specification for Requisition of Piping Components/Valves Perform Technical Bid Evaluation of vendor offers;

• Review and Approve Vendor Documents;

• Assist Inspection department;

• Should have worked in any of Piping Material Management Software;

• Software skills: Smart Plant Material, SAP.

• Years of experience: 8 to 10 yrs;

• Work from Home /Office: Office;

• Current Location- Anywhere in South India /Tamilnadu: People from Chennai and Rest of Tamil Nadu;

• Total expected working hours in a day: 8 hours 45 min;

• No of Expected working days: 26 days Maximum;

• Please note: Candidate should have taken at least 1 dose of Covid Vaccination.
