Desired Candidate Profile
Preferred skills :- Architecting and implementing best-in-class complex real time web software.
- Actively involved with development of server backbends that support mobile apps.
- Translate high level business problems into scalable design and code. Create libraries & Utilities for larger consumption
- Represent the server engineering team in high level meetings and keep everyone informed about the status of new & ongoing server development efforts within the company
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to create exciting user experiences and ensure delivery of graphic assets as per modern web standards
- Continuously keeping an eye on the latest cutting edge technologies and leveraging these in one's own and the team's work as necessary
- Create/Improve the architecture without supervision
- Work on the end to end stack (Platforms, UI, distributed systems, databases) rather than specialize in one particular area.
- Knowledge of financial module/accounting package.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.VB.NET, ASP .NET
- TCP/IP socket based programming OR protocol implementation like HTTP, XMPP, etc exposure web services and serialization techniques like REST, SOAP, XML, Web socket & JSON(Mandatory) implementing Agile/scrum methodologies
1. JavaScript/JQuery (Desired/not required)
2. Server Side JavaScript - Node.js, Backbone.js
3. Web Sockets (Desired/not required)
Required Candidate profile
Qualification : B.Tech/ BS/BE/ BS/ MS/M.Tech/MS in Electronics or Computer Science from a premier institute (IITs, BITS, NITs etc..)Skills / Experience (mandatory) :
- 5+ years of experience on VB.NET, ASP .NET, XML, JSON, Web based web applications and systems development using SQL database
- Knowledgeable on client side scripting libraries using Javascript/JQuery
- Knowledge of web services and serialization techniques like REST, SOAP, XML, Web socket & JSON
- Hands on exposure on TCP/IP socket based programming & protocol implementation like HTTP, XMPP, etc.
- Strong penchant for Object Oriented Design
- Experience of working with version control, bug tracking, continuous integration and other productivity enhancement software like SVN, Bugzilla, Jira etc.
- Prior experience in implementing Agile software methodologies
- The ability to effectively manage technical people (internal & external development resources) and projects
- Taking responsibility and ownership in the team's work
- Passionate about software development & modern day web technologies like
- 1. Server Side JavaScript - Node.js, Backbone.js
- 2. Web Sockets
- 3. Big Data
Education:
UG: B.Sc - Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. - Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers
PG: MS/M.Sc(Science) - Computers, Electronics, MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization, M.Tech - Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication
