Inviting applications for the role of ETL & Data Architect
As a Data Architect, you will be working on a number of high-profile projects and collaborating with key partners to design and build solutions that enable the business to gain insights needed for decision-making. You will be instrumental in our digital transformation by building the foundations for our Data Integration solutions and providing enterprise solutions to common problems. Projects will focus mainly on new development in the areas of data discovery, data quality, data integration and data movement.
Responsibilities
- Experience in architecting large-scale data solutions, performing architectural assessments, crafting architectural options and analysis, finalizing preferred solution alternative working with IT and Business stakeholders
- Work with client stakeholder to Design the solution and participate on presales discussion
- Should be able to present with deep data domain knowledge
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams
- Determines database structural requirements by analysing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills
- Provide ETL/Migration Design and Solution as per Enterprise guideline.
Technical Requirements
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to balance team and client discussions.
- Experience in Data Warehousing & ETL Design and Architecture
- Expertise on Oracle/Teradata/ Sql Server Development activity
- Expertise on ETL Design/Development and creating a solution for larger enterprise
- Strong exp any Data integration tool (preferably Informatica)
- Expertise on Data Quality, De-dup and Data Migration knowledge
- Strong Data base programming i.e Oracle PL/SQL
- Must have Experience on Python Scripting/Programming for Data ingestion and Spark SQL
- Good understanding of Hadoop eco system
- Experience on Data Lake implementation on premise or on Cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Good to have Snowflake exp with Snow pipe, SnowSql
- Experience working on migrating data from on premise (Hadoop, Netezza) data lake to Cloud - AWS S3, Snowflake
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and work experience in ETL tool like Informatica
- Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks/initiatives with multiple deadlines
- Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills
- Data modelling and data integration
- Support/Troubleshooting
Qualifications/Minimum qualifications
- Master of Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, related fields
- Expert in Informatica
- Expert in Oracle PLSQL
- Expert in ETL Design
- Expert in SQL
