Job Description

Job Summary

• Performs all over the counter banking transactions in accordance with bankas standard.
• Accepts cash deposits and payments for current, savings and fixed deposit accounts.
• Process withdrawals/ deposits from / to customer accounts.
• Approves and processes customer service charge refunds within authoritya
• Handles all routine customers questions, problems, concerns related to cash and remittances and refers complex issues to higher authorities as appropriate.
• Ensure seamless process flow in clearing department (where necessary).
• Educates and directs customers to appropriate delivery channels.
• Performs EOD cash and ATM balancing.
• Ensure zero error/delay in daily operations and all other activities related to cash and clearing.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day operations within the Branch
• To ensure accurate, timely and error free operational processing of customer needs and requests in Branches
• Ensuring regulatory compliance procedural compliance and timely Audit
• Transactions for NEFT/RTGS, etc.Vault / Key custodian
• Other duties may be assigned as business needs require:

Desired skills and competencies

• Should have managed cash for a Bank Before
• Knowledge of branch banking operations
• Experience in cross selling products would be an added bonus
