Job Description
Assistant Manager - Hardware Asset Management
In this role primary responsibility is to handle the IT Stores Operation end to end for Pan India regions.
Responsibilities
- Accountable & responsible for complete inventory management
- Ensure that Stores stock count is accurate and presentable at any time
- Work closely with Finance, Customs, Sourcing and other internal teams for deliveries and asset movements
- Ensure best practices in place by Identifying processes and guidelines that need to be streamlined to improve overall inventory management process
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Ensure right allocations of assets and rightly updated in the records
- Timely disposal of scrap to ensure optimum utilization of Storage area with best storage practices
- Timely creation of MRNs to ensure timely capitalization in the FAR
- Internal and external audit handling from inventory standpoint
- Work on project related to process improvement, productivity improvement and KPI improvement
- Conducting frequent audits on the stock positions to ensure no damages and loss and resolve the issues
- Tracking of Warranty status and depreciation of assets
- Analyse the data and identify key insights and opportunity areas from the improvements
- Escalation handling across all the sites and ensuring smooth function and error free operations
- Should be able to handle large team with SLA based structure
- Vendor Governance- Handle third party vendor performance & billing sign off
- Handling Courier partners, Packers and Movers for asset movements
- Tool Enhancements & Resource optimization
- Experience in MIS management and dashboards
- Creation of Policies and SOPs
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint,
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Manage time effectively and ability to multi-task
Preferred qualifications
- Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of setting priorities
- Working knowledge of STPI/SEZ legal environment
