Qualification
Graduate (in any discipline) - Minimum
Post Graduation / Cargo Handling Operations related Certification (Preferred)
Experience
7 Years (Min.) - Air Cargo Handling & Warehouse Management
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Budgeting and financial responsibilities.
Supervise and optimize the cargo handling, document handling, valuable handling and other value-added handling services offered to our customers.
Undertake thorough analysis of any service failures or reported service failure by customers, and initiate corrective measures immediately and ensure non-repetition of such failures.
Carry out staff performance appraisal as a means of assessing the performance of the staff and communicating to them the same, identifying training needs etc.
Undertake constant coaching/training of staff while on job so to improve his/her skill and competency.
Represent the company in meetings with workers representative as and when required.
Ensure that all employees are having their work uniform and gears as required under company policy to ensure that hygiene and safety of the employees are maintained.
To ensure timely information and requisition to purchasing department for items required for operational purpose.
To maintain proper inventory of all company materials and make them available along with records of usage at times of audits and inspections.
To maintain security and safety of customers material while in custody of the company.
Skill Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with willingness to work under stressed conditions.
Team handling experience is a must.
Highly committed and motivated professional with strong work ethic.
Result oriented and target driven approach.
Must possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Effective team player and willing to work in coordination with different departments.
Strong relationship building and team working skills.
Good Relationship management and conflict management skills.
Must possess honesty, credibility and good judgment.
