Job Description
ThirdEye is looking for Azure Data Engineerwith strong coding experiences in Python and developing SQL scripts. The ideal candidate will be able to own the end-to-end data lifecycle and their corresponding data technology stack. These Data Engineers should bring in fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing - whatever the case may be.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop / actively contribute to, debug and maintain software across the entire data lifecycle (from ingestion to deprecation)
- Augment the data tech stack by integrating them with existing / new data systems and sources.
- Understand the end-to-end lifecycle of the data and the data tech stack deployed across the enterprise
- Design and development of various data processing jobs
- Make efficient use of data structures and SQL programming to ensure maximum throughput of your data jobs
- Develop efficient software code for multiple use cases leveraging Spark and Big Data technologies for various use cases.
- Influence the teams technical decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in programming with Python and SQL
- Hands-on experiences working on the Azure cloud
- Extensive experience building Data Pipelines from various sources
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms design
- Advanced SQL skills used in data wrangling and preparation
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with optimized algorithms
- Ensure code has an extensive test, automated monitoring, and alerting coverage
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Self-motivated and a fast learner who pays attention to detail
- Ability to work independently but adhere to strict team standards of design, coding, and testing
