Job Description
*Job Summary:
Theincumbentin this position would be responsible to provide prompt and effective administration, support, and development for the Business Intelligence and visualization tools Noetix Web Query and PowerBI. This would include handling development and support tickets following change management process for development and enhancement. In this role one needs to interact with customers for understanding requirements and providing optimal solution.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working with Noetix or any other BI Tool
- 3-5 years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL
- HandOn experience in Power BI would be added advantage
- Ability to deliver complex business solution with minimal supervision
- Experience working with various data source like Oracle, SQL Server etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Flexible to work in 24x7 environment
- Working experience on SBM and Agile Process is a plus
- Knowledge of data analytics concepts is a plus
- Knowledge of PowerBi is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Server administration and performing regular monitoring and maintenance activity
- Proficient in Noetix WebQuery reports development and administrator
- Support and maintain production data and repository assets. Administer, support, and maintain the reporting toolset environment
- Define/Improve processes to improve system performance and efficiency
- Review and implement best practices within the team to maximize system potential
- Responsible for handling tier 3 support tickets and providing resolution within defined service level agreements
- Contributes throughout project life cycles, from planning to production implementation, including the creation of functional designs, technical designs and test plans for repository models and hierarchies.
- Develop and execute reports, Bug fixes, optimizations and enhancement, document processes and generate required metadata
- Must have Proficiency in tuning the SQL, PLSQL code for optimum performance
- Work with Business users to understand reporting requirement and provide optimal solution
