Roles and Responsibilities

    Reporting of Culture Sensitivity and routine microbiology tests

    To sign all Microbiology & serology reports

    To identify training needs of technicians and impart training to them.

    To ensure adherence to quality control protocols, both IQC and EQA .

    To supervise work of technical and non technical staff.

    Preparation of necessary SOPs

    To ensure availability of necessary resources / material required to accomplish tasks and functioning of the department.

    To ensure delivery of reports in time

    To ensure proper maintenance, service, repair and smooth functioning of machines in their departments

    To interact with patients and the doctors to understand and solve their problems.
