Location:Bangalore
Experience:7+ Years
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in review of BRD with PLM and customer facing teams
Derive functional/technical requirements from the BRD
Participate in UX definition of product requirements
Provide inputs for high level release estimations & planning
Provide architecture and design for complex requirements
Drive R&D initiatives, POCs and technology evaluations
Conduct design and code reviews for complex frameworks
Participate in review of system test cases with Engineering teams
Conduct profiling, benchmarking and performance tuning activities
Identify process inefficacies and recommend improvements/automation
Identify design inefficacies, provide improvements
Define and evangelize best practices for design and coding
Review/participate in resolution of complex production issues (with support/L3 teams)
Review/participate in resolution of performance issues (with support/L3 teams)
Participate in solutioning of customer requirements
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
7-9 years industry experience
Must have good problem solving skills
Must have excellent design, coding and refactoring skills
Must have good communication and presentation skills
Must be aware of latest IT, tech trends and best practices
Must be passionate about technologies, products and domains
Must be able to communicate complex technical ideas in a straightforward way
Should be a lateral thinker; who provides simple innovative solutions to complex problems
Should be able to participate in multiple projects simultaneously
Must have experience in large and complex database design and maintenance
Must have experience in large scale web applications
Familiarity with SaaS product constructs and cloud technology concepts
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices (CI/CD)
Must be a quick learner and open to learn new technologies
Bachelors degree in engineering preferably with computer science
Expertise in the following technologies is strongly desired:
o C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
o MS SQL Server, MySQL
o NoSQL, Elasticsearch/SOLR/Lucene
o Windows, Linux
o Shell Scripting, AWK, SED
o IIS
Experience in following will be an added advantage:
o Java, JBoss, Tomcat, jBPM
o Media streaming servers/technologies HLS, MPEG-DASH, VOD
o Graph databases
o MSMQ, ESB, Analytics, Reporting, Hadoop/Map-Reduce, Redis, MongoDB
