Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
job responsibilities:- Successfully produces complex conceptualization of ideas to create original art used in the development of electronic/print projects
- Uses advanced knowledge of web and new media design skills to produce creative, comprehensive layouts and designs for electronic client deliverables
- Maintains and applies advanced design/interactive design skills and a broad knowledge of current design and new media production techniques
- Uses advanced communication skills to offer multifaceted conceptual design solutions based on strategies in relation to client business needs
- Manages and oversees complex design projects from concept through production, effectively prioritizes and assigns work, and balances multiple priorities simultaneously
- Plans and schedules resources to meet client commitments and deadlines
- Serves as a project coordinator and works effectively in a team environment Technical Skills/Tools Requirement
- Essential
- o Effectively creates layouts with strong typography and appropriate use of color, images and fonts, allowing for readability of type
- o Effectively creates interactive presentations or proposals using a variety of software tools
- o Develops architecture, artwork and basic programming for creation of new media presentations, graphics web design and on-screen presentations
- o Develops complex concepts for packaging design and carries through with the construction of ideas
- o Effectively utilizes styles, master pages, templates, tracking, kerning and leading
- o Maintains expertise with Adobe Creative Suite software, intermediate skills in Flash and Dreamweaver, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- o Advanced knowledge for troubleshooting technical issues in graphic files for pre-press and printing - linking graphics, including fonts and creating color separations
- o Fundamental knowledge for troubleshooting technical issues in electronic files for web and on screen viewing - graphic linking, file size, venue execution
- o Develops best practices utilizing "state-of-the-art" techniques, equipment, and advancements within the design community
- o Assists in establishing vendor lists, develops and maintains vendor relationships, and works with external vendors regarding the coordination of production for external products and services
- o Raises awareness and supports firm brand
- o Understands, implements, and strictly adheres to the quality standards and procedures established by EY, including creative standards and guidelines
- o May train other senior designers, designers, and document specialists in the use of design principles, as well as the use of specific design tools.
- o Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, and persuade
- o Pursues and shares best practices within the department and among staff
- o Utilizes the web-based database to ensure all time and materials are billed correctly, project instructions and client interactions are fully documented
- o Creates timelines and cost estimates for client approval Technical skills/tools skills
- o Excellent technical knowledge in Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, Premiere and related Adobe products are pre-requisites for this role
- o Should be well versed in HTML/CSS, JavaScript and other client-side scripting languages Key behaviors

- o Influences clients to choose an effective design and deliverable solution within budget requirements
- o Facilitates project meetings and positive discussions relating to appropriate graphics methods/techniques to meet project requirements
