Job Location: Hyderabad/Goa
What this role will do :

The Solution Architect will be part of a team supporting a wide portfolio of internal business web applications. This role will be primarily be leading the team with cloud app modernization activities and architecting new applications to take advantage of cloud capabilities to drive greater value to our business internal customers. This role will also be hands-on with creating proof-of-concepts, conducting presentations and assisting with development activities where necessary.You will be responsible for :

• Leads the architecture design of new applications in collaboration with developers.
• Responsible for ensuring scalable design implementations that focus on code/module/component reuse and covering a larger breath of implementation needs.
• Stays abreast of changes in the Azure cloud landscape and Microsoft development technologies and brings those learnings back to the development team through demos and presentations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies against business and IT strategic needs.
• Manage and continuously improve the design and implementation of solution architecture processes and artifacts
• Provides technical expertise to drive the successful completion of development projects.
• Recommend and lead implementation of tools and practices associated with team-based software development.
• Occasionally may assist as a developer on key initiatives or troubleshooting critical production issues.

• Experience architecting solutions in Azure including App Services, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Containers, APIs, Microservices, etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps and particularly with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues when needed.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience preferred.
• 10+ years of hands-on design and implementation of business solutions supported by IT
• 3+ years of cloud development experience
• 2+ years of leading migration of applications from on prem to native cloud architecture
• Project solution architecture experience
• Azure certifications (nice to have)
