Job Description

Desired Skills
Display excellent analytical and SQL skills writing efficient queries
Work around large data and write complex algorithms to perform ETL operations
Understand and collate business requirements and prepare reports
Proficient with stored procedures and functions, triggers, event scheduler etc.
Understand and write improved queries by identifying performance bottlenecks
Understand high level specifications and plan, execute and document the processes
Understand underlying differences between various database engines, collations etc.
To design new tables keeping schema efficiency in mind
Plan and execute crash/disaster recovery
Understand MySQL memory allocation
Tune MySQL server for optimum performance
Utilize MySQL logs - slow, general and binary to troubleshoot database issues
Carry out deployments, migrations and setting up replication without downtimes
Familiarity working with AWS, Linux, and shell scripting or similar cloud setup
