Job purpose
To manage wide spectrum of activities ranging from Financial Strategy, Business Strategy, Corporate Finance & investment decisions with close interaction with stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities
Experience in identifying potential acquisitions with our interested line of business and ability to analyze and present the organizational overview.
Ability to do due diligence of potential target companies and present relevant business metrics with its forecasted value additions.
Experience in structuring of the deal itself, including negotiation of an equitable agreement, employee contracts, financing, and future liabilities.
Ability to carrying out management's plan for integration as quickly and smoothly as possible so that the financial rewards of acquisition can begin to accumulate.
Ability to perform SWOT analysis and analyze the nuances of the competitive landscape within the pre-determined area of consideration.
Support Managing Director in the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, budgets and assist in board related activities and other top level strategic activities.
Assist top level management to achieve/exceed a turnover target fixed by the management which will cover Manali Petrochemical Limited (MPL) operation.
To assist and closely work in strategic activities of our group concern in their business development, expansion and corporate planning activities.
To create mechanism for business intelligence and to develop an interface with corporate & operational levels for delivery/ deadlines through follow-ups, monitoring & implementation, interaction with Plant Heads & Functional Heads.
Under the guidance of the Strategy Head ensure that the organization's methods for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of strategic initiatives are followed without any deviations and the impact of investments that are applied.
To plan, assist and act as an enabler for the top management in designing and evaluating growth plan for the organization.
To represent Managing Director and handle day to day activities at plant level like attending meetings, analyzing production impact issues, developing MIS reports with key metrics, and presenting it with analytical view.
To act as a Business Advisory & provide timely MIS Reporting for the business.
Coordinates strategic planning and goal development for the organization; monitors achievement of goals and objectives and provides reports.
May oversee collection, reporting and interpretation of complex data and related information, including statistical values and provides advice and consultation regarding implications.
To co-ordinate with all departments and senior level management in important meetings, organizational level changes and strategic planning to enable effective management.
To represent MPL and take up international assignments which will be directly monitored by the Strategy Head and Managing Director.
Ability to monitor, control and report over financial assets and results, forward-looking financial and operating strategy, and often the risk management and responsibilities.
Responsible for identifying and securing merger and acquisition deals, managing and investing large monetary funds, and buying and selling financial products.
Closely work with all departments in assessing fund flow, financial decisions, managing business process by contributing and improving financial efficiency.
Strong financial system knowledge and ability to get into grassroot level of accounting systems and address issues.
Compliance with all tax related and regulatory requirements and suggestions on improving tax structure, making revisions as per the latest tax laws, tax planning to ensure cognizance with law.
Gathering, analysis and reporting of financial data on a periodic basis to all stakeholders (daily/weekly/monthly): Preparing consolidated statements for stakeholders in compliance with regulatory laws.
Assessing the funds and working capital required, assisting in fund-raising and actively managing working capital: Interacting with banks and funding institutions, giving advisory services to management on management of capital, etc.
Assisting in Fund raising / IPO activity.
Strategic Planning on determining financial viability of a particular project.
Good knowledge on latest financial laws, technology savvy (SAP FICO exposure), possess succinct data presentation.
Qualifications
An incumbent should be possessing strong finance background like CA/MBA Finance/CFA/MS Finance/PGDM or Equivalent (only full time) Finance post-graduation degree from institute of top rank only.
The individual should possess excellent communication skill with strong business acumen and demonstrate strength in presenting and analyzing key business metrics.
The individual should have lateral thinking to support and device strategic planning and implementation. Prior experience in implementation of policies and systems for organizational development will be of prime advantage.
The individual should be analytically strong with good data interpretation skills and flexible to rise to the need of an hour at all times.
