Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Accountable for analyzing and interpreting end-to-end customer Logistics (In-bound/Out-bound logistics, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management) processes to deliver business results that reflects creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative
- Serve as an active aide to Solution Architect working together as subject matter expert on various supply chain functions based on an in-depth knowledge of application features/functions and the unique business requirements of the client
- Use this expertise to understand the requirements expressed by the business, translate the requirements into solutions, and work with the business colleagues to manage the resulting change
- Have a basic understanding of operational processes, business processes and information flows required to produce an effective supply chain planning solution
- Review integration mapping documents and validate integration testing results are as expected
- Manage and produce the basic functional design documents. Validate basic Technical Design documents in collaboration with Solutions Architect and Technical Product Manager (TPM)
- Facilitate and support functional acceptance testing: test plan, test data, expected results and acceptance criteria
- Engaging in a contributor role to practice growth through white paper, case study, proposal, and statement of work development.
- Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment, leverage diverse views to encourage innovation and help develop and grow team members throughout the course of every engagement by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
Experience/Qualification
- Bachelors or Advanced degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operation Management or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of Consulting/Operation/IT implementation or super user experience or running Managed Services (Logistics Operation) in TMS, Global Trade Management, WMS, Supply Chain Visibility, Logistics Control Tower area.
- Good to have exposure in other functions of Supply chain like Planning/Source to Pay etc.
- Demonstrated capability in executing innovative solutions through process and technology.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Have experience in any Logistics solution like SAP, JDA/BY, Manhattan, Infor etc. is plus point.
- Strong technical/analytic skills in breaking down business process requirements into technical designs.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrated proficiency in: oral & written communication, interpersonal skills, adaptability, change management and project management.
