Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Model Development & Implementation
In this role, you will be responsible for migrating model development, implementation project from SAS to python.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate who will be primarily working for the centralized advanced analytics team. The role will entail:
Coding in SAS and python for analytics projects in a version controlled, Agile environment
Coordinating with auditors, model validation teams, UAT testing teams for successful completion of projects
Developing and supporting the reports to be shared with senior management at the desired frequencies
Validation for the source data quality, forecast data quality as well as change management
Good understanding of building/validating/implementing statistical models (Regression, Logistic Regression, Time series, Clustering, CHAID/Classification trees Etc.)
Development of benchmark ML models using different techniques.
Good understanding of building modeling strategies for automated decision making
Good Knowledge of Risk & Finance in Banking and financial sector
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Experience in BFS analytics and statistical modeling (Regression, Time Series, Survival Models, Markov TPM, scorecards etc.)
Minimum of a Master of Science in Statistics/Economics/Finance/Analytics
Expertise in both SAS and Python
Knowledge on cloud technology like Azure, Devops , AWS Sagemaker and in change control software like GitHub and SVN
Ability to work independently without significant supervision
Good client management and communication/presentation skills written & verbal
Self-motivated and execution oriented
Ambitious, proactive, can-do attitude. Ability to work under ambiguity and with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to learn very quickly and identify improvement opportunities high energy and self-starting individual
Preferred qualifications
Experience in visualization technologies Tableau Spotfire MATLAB and SPSS is a plus
