Hiring | Equity Research Analyst | Mumbai

Job Purpose/ Objective- To perform equity research analysis for managing small case portfolios especially curated for Wealth clients based on fundamental equity analysis.

Principal Accountabilities/Primary

Responsibilities of the Job :-

Fundamental Equity Research:

• Coming out with Investment Ideas and present them to the internal investment committee
• Writing Research, maintaining report records including Investment Rationale and financial models for Investment ideas and Investment universe.

Managing India Horizons Portfolios (smallcase):

Managing the India Horizons portfolios and actively participate in sectoral allocation to drive outperformance of the portfolios.

Contribution to monthly newsletters/Deep Dive/Research Presentation: -

Contribute to regular publications like Monthly Macroscope, Morning Cuppa, Dots to Join, Monthly Equity Market overview, Equity Research Presentation and Strategy Note etc.

IPOs: Prepare presentations around IPOs and other important events

Adhoc reports: Prepare Union Budget note, note on any reform announcements/major developments

Job Specification

Educational Qualification Required MBA/ CA / CFA

Experience Required 6 to 8 years relevant work experience, including prior experience in authoring research reports

Important Skill Set Required Deep knowledge of Indian equity markets

Fundamental equity research and report writing

• Ability to work with vast data sets Bloomberg, Capitaline .
