Job Description

Work independently and as part of a team installing, operating and maintaining Dril-Quip drilling and completion products on and offshore

Maintain close liaison with the on-site Client representative and present all the options available in order to allow the installation to be completed effectively

Provide an inventory of equipment and spare parts required to perform the tasks in hand and ensure availability at the work site

Discuss procedures and suggest practices with the Client representative based on knowledge and experience gained at different work sites

Provide a full account of own and the rigs activity during the time spent at the work site in the form of a written report

Compliance with Dril-Quip and Client Health Safety and Environmental policies

Read and interpret engineering drawings

Understand drilling and completion operations on land or offshore drilling rigs

Basic pressure testing

Trouble shooting and repair of mechanical and hydraulic equipment

Report writing Effective verbal communication PC skills
