- Perform the duties of a Network Engineer as part of Network IP reconfiguration and reconciliation project
- Conduct network assessment of existing architecture and identify target IP plan strategy.
- Identify unused public IP, non-contiguous IP range and develop redesign strategy to conserve public IP address.
- Evaluate IP usage and ip change impact analysis such as DNS dependency, firewall rule impact etc.
- Coordinate with security and application team to analyze IP address usage and dependency.
- Develop detailed ip migration and reconfiguration plan as per the analysis output.
- Maintain upto date IP details and utilize IPAM tools to discover and record IP usage.
- Reconfigure network design, routing protocols and firewall rules to reflect new IP design.
- Prepare design documents such as HLD, LLD, Migration plane, Acceptance test etc.
- Take part in regular customer review meetings
Skill
- 6 8 years of network experience
- Experience in Cisco routing and switching
- CCNP or equal certification is preferred.
- expertise in IPv4 and IPv6 design, planning, subnetting, routing.
- Good understanding on DNS, Public IP routing, dual homed BGP design.
- Good experience in network design and document preparation including topology diagrams, design documents etc.
- Good understanding on Loadbalancer, PKI, Certificate management.
- Experience in designing internet edge and DMZ network with Public IPs, NATs, reverse Proxy etc.
