Job Description
We have an immediate requirement for SOC/Cyber Security engineer
Role: SOC /Cyber Security Engineer
Experience: 6 - 9 years
Location: Chennai
Notice Period: immediate
SIEM Tools with EDR, Vulnerability etc....
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- 6 to 9 years of experience in managing Security Operations Center
- Experience in working on EDR, AV, SIEM, Email Security, Incident response, Privilege Identity/access management, Malware analysis and cleanup.
- Should have solid understanding of cyber security concepts and frameworks like NIST, MITRE, Cyber Kill Chain etc.,
- Having relevant Certification(s) like CEH, GIAC, GSEC, GCIH, GCFA, CHFI, CISSP, etc., is an added advantage
- Experience in Malware reverse engineering will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge in the following products is an added advantage
CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Securonix, ARCON, Tenable, Symantec Endpoint Protection
Skills/Behaviours
- Able to work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor
- Keeps updated on cybersecurity and Threat trends
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise
- Self-motivated and results-orientated
- Able to execute against demanding competitive goals
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good stakeholder management skills across multiple geographies
- Strong Excel skills (PowerBI knowledge is an added advantage)
- Team/People management and rostering experience
