Job Description
The role focus is on delivering the committed product portfolio from ideation to commercialisation by co-ordinating with cross functional teams in R&D & QA with clear problem solving and closure in overall end to end new product development process for Nutrition Business in India and EM.
Key result area for this role
The responsibilities of this role is managing the day-to-day activities in the DRNDC, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing R&D projects, collaborating with other department teams for problem solving, guidance, escalations & closures to meet project timelines and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Participate in product selection and ensure business requirements are built into the overall delivery process.
Support end to end new product launch support - Pre Apex, Apex process,TPP, COGS, prototyping, scale up and engineer batch, stability studies and commercial launch through various CFTs in Back end and Front end.
Work with business PMO lead for supporting to define a long time portfolio road map
Planning project management , including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
R&D Portfolio & Programme Management
Project Timelines -Actively drive reviews with key stakeholders at R&D and QA functions to ensure the projects are progressing as per agreed timelines.
Project Budget- Track Planned vs Actual Budget and evaluate PnL before proceeding with approval for additional budget.
R& D project management across projects in clinical research, medical, new products, regulatory
Technology Transfer Projects Drive various activities to prioritize, Plan , initiate and execute in line with committed plan for local Partners and CMOs
To identify thematic issues and work with various stakeholders to debottleneck with counter measures and appropriate action plan to ensure continuous improvement in various processes impacting product filings till registration
PMO Requirements:
Science degree, MSC, MPharm, Bachelors or Master in Food technology from a reputed institute, Masters degree in Business, Administration, or a related field.
Good understanding of Nutrition/pharmaceutical business processes such as New Product Development, Analytical, Sensory, Packaging, Regulatory, QA ,Research etc
Hands-on experience (minimum 3-4 years) of working across R& D functions product development person who has shifted to project management will be a preferred candidate
Hands-on experience of using various analytical tools and Market databases
A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in the FMCG/Pharma industry.
Strong leadership skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and multi tasking skills.
