Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from annual / sustainability / environmental / social / governance / code of conduct reports and company websites
• Develop a good understanding of different classes of funds, with focus on sustainable funds
• Collect relevant fund-related information from the product factsheets, prospectus and analyze the collected data based on client-defined criteria / questionnaire
• Monitor news and controversial conduct of the companies by leveraging various databases such as FactSet, Factiva, NGO campaigns and online review websites
• Provide appropriate sourcing / references
• Prepare structured summary / critique on ESG performance of companies
• Prepare company benchmarking and sector report

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Graduates / postgraduates with 24 years of experience in ESG research or relevant financial services
• Exposure to ESG investment products will be preferred
• Prior background in research and analysis will be preferred
