• Job Description:
• Expertise in Managing day to day OPD/indoor admissions and administration, Medico Legal & Statutory Compliance, Strategy Formulation for IP admissions and managing the patients,Medical Records Management, Nursing Services Management.
• Ensure proper and quality clinical care of the patients
• Go on hospital rounds on a daily basis, make observations (cleanliness of bed etc.) and take feedback from patients by asking questions and interacting with them
• Take up issues with the respective doctors and departments and convey feedback to consultants in a positive way.
• Inform Head non-medical services and other issues for corrective action
• Assess the quality of food, satisfaction indicators and timely clearance
• Enquire about nursing service, collect inputs and hand it over to the nursing head
• Check that the doctor is coming on rounds and doubts etc of the patients were clarified
• Responsible for implementation and adherence to SOP's in all clinical specialties, conducting regular medical audits on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure that proper standard Operative procedures are in place for the efficient care of patients.
• Set up & ensure the regular functioning of Clinical/Non-clinical committees, in consultation with the Medical Superintendent.
• To work closely with the nursing superintendent & take all necessary steps to ensure high standard of patient care.
• To co-ordinate with the emergency team for all medico legal cases received at Hospital.
• To ensure proper Infection Control.

Emergency Services: Medical Superintendent shall be available 24*7 in case any type of emergency arises in the hospital in order to take necessary decisions to combat emergencies.

Should be actively involved in medical & surgical audits should have cordial relationship with peers & staff & should be a team player.
