Job Description

Role : Technical Lead / Project Lead Role : Technical Lead / Project Lead A senior level technical position responsible for the review, analysis, design, programming, modification, development, operation and implementation of software applications and software products. May also be required to train, lead and direct the work of others. Works with internal / external customers to develop new or custom features to software products/ services.

Main Task & Responsibilities

Instruct, assign, direct and checks the work of other software developers on development team. Plan and manage agile development sprints Work as lead programmer and client coordinator Perform code analysis and reviews. Design product solution architectures Research, test, build and coordinate the conversion and/ or integration of new products based on client requirements Make detailed analysis and write technical specifications for the requested system/ project features. Manage on- site and off- shore development teams. Interact with developers of projects partners. Guide the resolution of implementation and post- implementation issues. Provide guidance on issues related to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Assist on performing feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of third party application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Education : A professional qualification in Engineering (preferably Computer Science / Computer Technology) + additional professional certifications

Formal training on SSAD / OOAD Techniques, Formal training on RDBMS [Oracle/ Sybase/ SQL server] skills, Formal PM certification will be an added advantage Role Category : At least 7+ years of progressive experience on software development projects on relevant technologies with demonstrable experience on involvement through the complete SDLC Hand- on experience (preferably abroad) on deploying / integrating end- to- end solutions preferably in the Finance / Banking industry Significant exposure to the Banking / Finance industry especially related to payments is a must Strong experience in architecting, implementing and managing high performance scalable J2EE applications on Linux/ Unix platforms with one or more of the following: Java Web Services, Oracle SQL Developer, JSP, EJB, Struts, Spring, Ant, JSF JMS, XML, JBoss, JDeveloper Excellent knowledge of J2EE architecture/ design patterns, Object Oriented Design methodologies, SOA, data modelling techniques and SOAP. Soft Skills

Strong problem- solving and analytical skills. Self- motivated, independent, detail oriented, and a responsible team- player The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Practical experience in using any project management software and tools. Additionally experience in implementing middleware would be an advantage. Thorough knowledge of all key elements of a typical IT department

Strong communication skills Formal exposure to SDLC techniques
