Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, manage, and sustain an efficient regional supply chain for the company's global
products portfolio sourced from the region, and contribute to revenue & EBIT
growth.
Work on queries from sales/business teams and turn around the same within
agreed SLA's
Maintain all contracts and evaluate all supplier performance according to contract
and ensure efficient flow of all conditions in contract.
Design and implement an effective sourcing strategy to reduce total cost of
acquisition, reduce supply risks and manage overall sourcing processes.
Assist supervisors in all negotiations and prepare/maintain appropriate
documentation.
Monitor all sourcing strategies and policies to ensure achievement of all business
objectives and perform appropriate negotiations with all suppliers.
Coordinate with suppliers to recommend ways to reduce costs of the products &
associated logistics including overall supply chain costs.
Continually engage with sales/marketing teams to establish demand-supply
visibility and new product/supplier development plan for a competitive supply chain
position.
Establish and maintain best-in-class supplier qualification and performance
management program to enhance competitive edge in the marketplace.
Continually evaluate India/APAC supply market to identify and develop new
sources of competitiveness - both in products and alternate suppliers.
