Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) Ciscos/Extreme/Edgecore

Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per operations processes, affecting the network infrastructure.

Skills Required:

Experience on Layer2 config: VLAN, TRUNK, DOT1Q, ARP, Collision domain, cam table/mac address table, MAC address, L2 switching, VLAN ACL / Private VLAN, Dot1x(802.1x), DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, Port aggregation (LACP/PaGP), Multi-chassis Port aggregation (VSS/MC-LAG/vPC), Spanning-tree protocol, Multicast/Broadcast

Experience on Layer3: Routing, Broadcast domain, NAT+PAT, IPv4/IPv6, , link state and distance vector protocols, VRF / Routing Instance, Anycast / Unicast / Multicast, GRE, IPsec, Path MTU Discovery, MPLS, BGP, OSPF

Radius configuration and troubleshooting.

Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability

Qualifications:

Degree from recognized university BE/BTech (EE/CS), MCA/MTech

Should have 7-12 years of experience in the telecom/software/hardware industry.

CCNP certified

Should have solid written and verbal communication skills.
