Job Description

Technical skills (mandatory)

Experience in team management.

Tertiary qualification in IT related field or equivalent.
6+ years of work experience
4+ years of work experience in PL/SQL.
Develop, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle and third-party tools.
Experience with Oracle Version 12c, 19c
Strong experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning.
Performance tune SQLs, application programs and instances.
Experience in maintenance of existing software applications and continuous improvement (brownfield development).
Experience in versioning control.
Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD)

Soft skills (mandatory)

Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
A committed personality and a team player.

Highly regarded (optional)

Knowledge of an object orientated language (C# or Java)
Leading teams technically would be an advantage
Experience in the setup of automated tests and deployment chains (CI/CD) is highly appreciated
Experience with issue tracking tools(Jira).
DBA experience
