Our main goal is to make fast, affordable expert help available to people everywhere. We help people solve problems and answer questions by connecting them online with doctors, lawyers, vets, mechanics, tech support and more.
You will design and develop great web application solutions for the Customer Acquisition team, own the success of deliverables assigned to you, and work collaboratively with other Stakeholders both within Engineering and across the organization. You should be eager and proactive in learning new technologies. Our technology stack includes many Microsoft and Google components: ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2016, SSIS (ETL), PowerBI, GoogleAdwords, Google BigQuery, and Google Analytics.
Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain systems using Paid Search APIs including Google Adwords and Bing Ads
Develop reporting and data-warehouse data structures
Advocate for your architectural and design choices among your peers
Ensure successful completion of stories by identifying and resolving blockers and other issues
Promote effective Agile processes in teams and establish best practices
Have creative ideas for continuously improving our processes
Engineer quality into our product with unit testing and integration testing
Refactor the code base regularly
Review designs and code of peer software engineers
Work with stakeholders to balance business priorities with development time
Work with Technical Operations to ensure deliverables meet service level objectives for run times and reliability
Key Requirements
9+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC
Expertise in .NET Framework 4.0 or above including WCF, ADO.NET etc.
Expertise in MVC web frameworks, Web Forms
Expert knowledge of SQL (SQL Server preferred) and at least one ETL platform (SSIS preferred)
5+ years of experience in the delivery of data warehouse applications including ETLs and Reporting
