Title - Chemist - ESD Consumables

Job Location - Ambattur, Chennai

Qualification - Phd

M.Sc Chemistry

M.Sc Material Science

Experience - 5 years or more relevant experience in analytical chemistry and Raw material handling

The Chemical and Metallographic laboratories are keys to successful product development, competent customer service and sustainable method development of analysis techniques used in production units globally. Equally important are the instructions and specifications issued by the central lab.

Responsibilities:

Perform tests and analysis such as Instrumental analysis (OES, XRF, CF, O2N2, Diff H)
Volumetric analysis, gravimetric analysis
Keep up to date with new techniques and develop new analysis methods
Choose, adjust and modify methods/techniques in order to achieve the best results possible
Update instructions and specifications
Individual equipment responsibilities
Participate in internal and external development and research projects

Accountabilities:

To fulfill Customer satisfaction, both internally and externally
Solutions, improvements and participation in internal and external projects to further develop methods, the work processes and routines
Stockplan of lab consumables
Calibration and maintenance of equipments

Required Characteristics:

Service level, both internally and externally
Analysis results on time
Delivery of agreed analysis and projects on time
Maintenance and calibration of equipments without deviation
