Bed Bath and Beyond Contact Centre technology team is seeking a talented Project Manager.
This role will lead the Contact Centre track on cross-functional projects as well as apply project management methodology to support the implementation of key systems and/or business processes in a contact centre environment.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and/or reviews estimates for the projects schedule, effort, and budget using best practices and past experiences.
  • Performs day-to-day management of all phases of the project including, obtaining project requirements, design, development, test, and deployment of each project.
  • Manages resource planning and assignments by partnering with internal staff to determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedules according to the project timeline.
  • Ensures that all project resources are all used effectively.
  • Defines team member roles and expectations and ensures effective communication between all parties involved in the project.
  • Coordinates all project activities with business owners/stakeholders and other support, technical infrastructure, and application teams.
  • Manages relationships and coordinates work between vendors, customers, sub-contractors, and engineering teams throughout various locations.
  • Oversees change management on the overall project scope, according to a predefined change process, to meet project goals.
  • Creates and maintains project implementation plans, risk mitigation plans, design documents, project budget, status reports, and all other project management-related documentation. This includes updating all internal systems to ensure all documented information aligns with the current project status.
  • Requirements:
  • Experience working with Contact Centres and Contact Centre technologies.
  • Experience working with Cisco unified contact centre enterprise and/or Oracle Service cloud a huge plus.
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years of direct project management experience (Software development and/or Collaboration or Contact Centre Solutions).
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, appropriate judgment, and logical decision-making skills.
  • Manage multiple projects without losing effectiveness and losing your sanity
