RSL is looking for experienced Android Technical Leads to join our team in Pune.We work on Mobile and Web platforms in the areas of IoT, Wearables, drones, and mission critical apps used by millions of users. We help top Silicon Valley companies like LinkedIn and Nest Labs with the development of their flagship apps.
Position Overview:
We are looking for Android Technical Leads responsible for the design and development of end user products aimed at a range of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be development of Android applications and shipping the project/module you own. You will also be responsible for mentoring and leading the team you are part of. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, high quality code, and a passion for technology is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver applications for the Android platform using Kotlin, Java and RxJava. . This requires deep understanding of Android fundamentals, experience in shipping Android applications and good architecture/design skills.
- Lead the team you are part of by mentoring, reviewing code and pushing for continuous success.
- You own your modules end-to-end. We provide a sandbox to experiment and trust you to work through issues and deliver.
- Stay up-to-date with technical trends. Be a part of RSL's learning culture by giving Tech Talks.
Skills:
- Core development experience in Kotlin, Java (or RxJava) and Android SDK.
- Experience in shipping multiple Android applications.
- Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, with strong logical reasoning skills.
- Passion for quality.
