Location: Bangalore

-Act as the AZURE technical design authority for Microland's Cloud Computing Solutions; supporting Automation and Service Operations in several areas including Solution development, AZURE migration, Management, Application refactoring, 3rd platform applications, and overall IT transformation

- Keep abreast happenings in the industry and publish it to the team

- Prepare technology oriented whitepapers/blogs for publication to evangelize the AZURE based services with the various internal teams, partners and Customers

- Perform and oversee the evaluation and implementation of new or updated AZURE components to ensure the robust product lifecycle management including the delivery of new functionality, capacity, etc.

- Perform PoC's / Projects for implementation with emerging technologies to assess new/efficient ways to utilize AZURE in solutions

- Translate architecture requirements/designs into specific engineering solution tasks for team to accomplish, provide resource estimates for Solution Designs to accomplish assigned deliverables.

- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship and subject matter expertise to other architects and engineers to improve our organizational capability in the delivery of enterprise public and hybrid cloud solutions

- Thorough understanding and experience with AZURE

- Experience in solution engineering application architecture for horizontally scaled environments that are highly virtualized.

- An expert level understanding of the AZURE core services and technologies

- Proven Experience in designing solutions utilizing most of AZURE technologies

- In depth understanding of application technologies: middleware, identity management name/address space management, systems management, monitoring, configuration management, capacity planning and performance tuning, high availability architectures.

- Excellent Microsoft administration

- Experienced scripting; Python, Ruby, PowerShell

- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, CFengine , Chef

- Virtualization (Kernel Virtualization Machine (KVM), VMware vSphere, etc.)

- Experience and understanding of Representational State Transfer Application Program Interfaces

- Experienced in provisioning, orchestration and automation of cloud-based environments

- Experience in architecture leadership that brings together and integrates solutions across multiple vendors (e.g. OpenStack, RSA, Pivotal, Xebia, Puppet, Brocade, Palo Alto, ServiceNow, Dell, VMWare)

- Experience with large cloud migration, integration and consolidation efforts.

- Experience preparing IT service roadmaps and maturity assessments

- Experience in a Pre-sales / technical consulting role focused on Virtualization and Cloud infrastructure.

- Strong problem solving experience

- Excellent planning, communication and presentation skills

- Ability to travel approximately 50+%.

- Excellent Communication skills
