Job Description
Restore Strategies Full EC2 & EBS Recovery along with other options.
Configure and monitor Commvault backup and recovery policies and schedules.
YAML & python knowledge would be an added advantage
Should understand AMIs (AWS & custom) Monitoring from AWS as well as Commvault perspective.
Ransomware Protection & Mitigation strategy/options.
Proven experience with Terraform & Cloud Formation (AWS). Knowledge of Designer would be an added advantage.
Should be hands on with Unix & Windows Operating systems basic & intermediate tasks.
In depth understanding of Commvault & AWS APIs & scenario oriented handshake.
Good knowledge of AWS Cloud. Should be well versed with cross account backups, TGW, VPC peering concepts, SG, NACL, Endpoints, Subnets, S3 (all options), EBS, IAM, EC2s, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail.
Proven experience of engaging with stakeholders & gathering backup related requirements (asking the right questions is key here, in a way they would understand as not all stakeholders might be technical)
Deep understanding of AWS native backups from architecture & working functionality perspective.
Well versed with creating architecture design, HLD, LLD for backup components on AWS cloud.
Experience with storage technologies such as NAS, SAN, and object storage
Need to understand how AWS native backups compares against Commvault in AWS cloud as a backup solution (pros & cons )
Ability to improvise on feet & produce solutions & strategy, based on constructive feedback.
Mandatory prior experience in deploying Commvault on AWS Cloud via marketplace.
Mandatory prior experience of manually creating a Commvault backup environment on AWS from scratch. Need to have a detailed understanding of steps involved.
In depth knowledge of IntelliSnap configuring backups & backend working functionality.
Expected to understand all steps involved in configuring IntelliSnap Agentless File Level Recovery via Commvault on AWS
