We are hiring Information Security Executive for one of our fast growing client.
- Job Title: InfoSec Executive
- Location/Base: Chennai
- Directorate/Dept: Process Excellence
- Responsible for: ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, information security and process management, Internal Auditing
JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY
- Work alongside the top management and senior management to deliver information security aspects.
- Understand the role of a project manager and ensure monitoring and tracking of deliverables along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and their organizational implementations
- Strong understanding of internal audits
- Be willing to travel to client locations to perform deliverables
- Strong interest in documentation and quality content delivery, with primary focus in English
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the company's information security organization, consisting of direct reports and indirect reports (such as individuals in business continuity and IT operations). This includes training, staff development, performance management and annual performance reviews.
- Facilitate information security governance projects for customers and ensure to take responsibility in coordinating the implementation and establish process.
- Oversee the review, approval, and dissemination of ISMS policies and practices.
- Create, communicate, and implement a risk-based process for vendor risk management, including the assessment and treatment for risks that may result from partners, consultants and other service providers.
- Work directly with the process owners (Internal staff as well as clients management) to facilitate, create and manage information security and risk management for all employees, contractors, IT and non-IT systems.
- Provide regular reporting on a periodic basis as per information security program (including internal/external audits, MRM, ISMS continuity, risk treatment plans, etc.) to top management and senior management.
- Experience working with legal, audit and compliance staff.
- Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
- Experience in system technology security testing (vulnerability scanning and penetration testing) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with other compliance requirements like HIPAA, GDPR, QMS, ITSM, BCMS, OSHA, SOC2, PIMS, etc. is an added advantage.
