Job Description
:We are having an urgent opening for the position of Physiotherapist for a reputed Healthcare Centre at the (Sundargarh)Orissa location.
Job Highlights:
- To be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with the organizational standards of practice
- Ensure that your own practice meets the required professional standards of practice
- To be accountable for all aspects of your own work, including the management of patients in your care, and to ensure a high standard of clinical care supporting other staff to do likewise
- Ensures safety at discharge and continuation of progress by providing, home exercise programs, family/caregiver instruction, recommendations for assistive equipment, and recommendations for continued therapy in a less restrictive setting
- Formulate accurate prognoses and recommend the best course of the intervention, developing comprehensive
- discharge plans, liaising with doctors/ consultants as appropriate
- To represent department/colleagues internally and externally regarding speech and swallowing services in their clinical field
- Assessment principles to clinical practice
- To manage clinical risk within own patient caseload
- Good team working skills combined with an understanding of and commitment to multidisciplinary working
- Acts independently and continually reassess patients making highly skilled evaluations and decisions regarding treatment options within the group and individual work in order to progress treatments and management strategies effectively
- Assesses the clients functional abilities, including physical, emotional, cognitive, and sensory components to evaluate the necessity of skilled occupational therapy inventions
- To work as an independent clinical professional with knowledge and skills, problem-solving and clinical reasoning in a specialist area
- To demonstrate highly developed dexterity, co-ordination and palpatory senses for assessments and manual treatment of patients
- Applying interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
- Helps the client achieve goals set forth in the treatment plan by providing neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activity, self-care/home management training, sensory integration techniques, wheelchair management, and wound care
- Constantly update knowledge & practical skills in the field of Physiotherapy, ergonomics, and rehabilitation
- Helping patients recover from accident, illness, or injury

Educational Qualification: BSC/ BPT/ PG in Occupational Therapy
