Roles and Responsibilities
The role is for a Customer Support Engineer responsible For On-Site Installation, Maintenance And Repair Of IBM Power Systems including Hardware and Operating Systems Software support.
They are the Primary technical interface to customers for the coordination of Hardware And/Or Software support and delivery Of Technical Services.
They Are Accountable To Ensure A High Level Of Customer Satisfaction With Service Delivery.
Skills
1. Knowledge of risk based systems running on UNIX / LINUX platforms. 2. Hands on working skills for managing day-to-day AIX Operating System installation , migration and break-fix support. 3.Knowledge of SAN S/W & Storage Administration and integration with Operating Systems. 4. Knowledge of HACMP clusterding , VIOS implementation. 5. System P Hardware installation and Break fix supports.
6. Knowledge and expertise of OS Clustering , Partitioning and vertulisation.
