    Job Title: Team Lead - UK Accounting Location: Mohali, India Department: Finance and Accounting Reports To: Manager Job Type: Full-Time Shift Timings: 10 AM - 7 PM (Morning shift) Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Job Overview Fiducia Accounting Services is seeking an experienced Team Lead for our UK Accounting team. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with UK standards. This position requires strong leadership and accounting skills. Key Responsibilities- Manage and mentor a team of accountants. Assign tasks, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS. Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes. Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed financial reports. Ensure compliance with all relevant UK financial regulations and standards. Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Utilize accounting software and technology to streamline operations. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies. Work closely with other departments to support overall business objectives. Provide financial insights and support to various projects and initiatives. Serve as a point of contact for accounting-related queries from other departments. Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelors degree in accounting (B.COM), Finance, or a related field. A masters degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is preferred. 2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team lead role. KPO experience would prefer. 3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS and UK tax regulations would be a plus point. 5. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and organizational skills. 6. Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
