Responsibilities

Plan menus: Develop seasonal dishes and specials, and collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items
Train and supervise: Mentor junior chefs in proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
Monitor food quality: Ensure that food is fresh, prompt, and of high quality
Manage food waste: Monitor and manage food waste, and deal with suppliers
Implement hygiene and safety guidelines: Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
Monitor food temperatures: Regulate and monitor food temperatures
Assist in cost analysis: Assist in cost analysis and review, and monitor inventory levels
