Candidate should have

12 - 15 years of industry experience in Engineering and IT as technical architect role developing large scale systems based on complex integration solutions and server/ cloud based web application

Prior extensive experience working in a capacity of solution architect, data architect, developing architectures on cloud and hybrid networks

Experience in architecting end to end IoT solutions using Azure, AWS or Google cloud stack (Azure IoT Central, Azure IoT Hub, IoT Edge, etc.)

Well versed using SQL and NOSQL technologies, and unstructured data and Big Data analytics (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).

Experience with DevOps, source control, CI/CD automation pipelines

Designing cost-effective cloud solutions, minimising utilisation of paid services, optimisation of the data processing, balancing cost vs benefit

Min 3 years of Hands-on experience on IOT.

Good understanding of drivers for edge sensors, device provisioning and
protocols

Good understanding of sensor to gateway/cloud connectivity solutions

Ability to effectively communicate and influence both technical and non-technical customers

Strong technical troubleshooting and performance analysing on issues during the implementation/ support

Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly absorb customer requirements
and translate into technical solutions

Provides technical direction for the design, development and system integration in the area of IoT solution development from definition phase through implementation in a nimble, startup like environment

Participates in developing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) with engagement
or Project team managers and Subject Matter Experts; to develop estimates and
work-breakdown; work scope for make-buy decision including developmental items

Support the Sales Team as the Technical Lead in pre-sales consultation
meetings and leads the overall technical solution in customer support and
responding to RFIs / RFPs

Assist in the evaluation of new solutions for integration into the IoT Roadmap/Strategy

Good to have

Microsoft Azure certification at architect level

Expert knowledge and recent experience with the up-to-date Microsoft Azure technologies, e.g. Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Azure Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Logic Apps

Knowledge of modern data warehouse and other reference Azure or AWS architectures

Experience designing data flows e.g. streaming, batch processing, parallel execution (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)

Extensive experience developing data warehouse architectures, using different data modelling methodologies

Strong knowledge on Design Patterns

Strong knowledge on cloud security, RBAC, and SAS  

Experience with Big Data architectures and BI solutions
