Job Description: DGM - Techno - Commercial
About the role:
The incumbent will be responsible to develop, implement and review all procurement strategies, policies and procedures.
To lead, manage and deliver procurement in order to meet strategic and operational objectives of the organization.
Key Result Areas:
Develop standard conditions of contract for large value packages, small value packages, consultancy agreements, purchase orders
Finalise the Project specific Contracting Strategy and list of packages in coordination with Projects & Design team
Finalise the Tender Event Schedule in coordination with Projects, Design, Estimation team
Lead and manage the tendering process involving tender compilation, issue & receipt of tenders, negotiations, techno-commercial evaluation, recommendation notes, preparation of work orders, purchase orders, contract documents. (Exposure to E tendering platforms preferred)
Vendor identification, Pre-qualification and empanelment, Vendor registration in SAP-Ariba
Develop and implement contracts master to cover all contracts to enable document tracking and monitoring.
The contracts & procurement will include all disciplines of work. It may also include consultancy services like Design/PMC/Cost & QS etc.
Be responsible for awarding all contracts effectively within the budget approved.
Direct import related contracts & LC documentation.
Finalisation of MOUs/Annual Rate Contracts for repeat requirements.
Prioritize procurement activities in the department to ensure TAT and project timelines are met with.
Ensure the PO/WO are released in the SAP as per the approved process.
Preparation & issue of variation orders/amendments based on change requests received from Projects team.
Support the Project team in evaluation of resolution of contractual claims.
Provide reports and MIS to management on timely basis.
Provide data and coordinate for Statutory & Internal Audits.
Reporting: Administrative Reporting - Business Head
Education Qualification: B.Tech/ B.E. Preferably MBA.
Experience: 10 - 12 years of experience in capex procurement with F&B or Hospitality industry
Technical/Functional Skills: Contract negotiation, knowledge of vendor assessment methods, tendering,
Salary- upto 40 Lacs PA (Negotiable for suitable candidate)
