Role Description We are seeking an experienced Lead Artist to join our XR team. This role expects the candidate to have technical expertise, artistic vision, and project leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of content development (manual and using AI technologies, photogrammetry etc.), excel in client interactions, and be open to occasional travels. Knowledge in content development for GIS solutions would be an added advantage. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver immersive XR solutions that push creative and technical boundaries. This is a full-time on-site role at Digital Agents Interactive Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram. Key Responsibilities Artistic and Technical Leadership Lead the development of high-quality, immersive XR environments and experiences. Collaborate with artists, developers, and designers to create visually compelling and technically efficient content. Oversee the integration of content from different tools (such as GIS applications) into XR workflows, ensuring accuracy and aesthetic integrity. Pipeline Development and Optimization Develop and maintain robust art and asset pipelines for XR projects. Create tools and shaders to improve workflow efficiency and visual fidelity. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in art production. Client Interaction and Project Management Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions. Present concepts, prototypes, and deliverables to stakeholders. Ensure alignment between client expectations and technical/artistic execution. Travel and On-site Work Occasionally travel to client sites for meetings, presentations, or on-site implementations. Qualifications Technical Skills Strong experience in XR development platforms such as Unity or Unreal Engine. Proficiency in 3D software like Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max. Expertise in integrating GIS data into 3D environments and XR experiences. Experience with shader development and optimization. Artistic Skills Proven ability to create and direct high-quality visual content, from concept to implementation. Strong understanding of lighting, texturing, and environmental design principles. General Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to manage and mentor a team of artists. Experience 7+ years of overall experience. 1+ years of experience in a technical or lead artist role, preferably in the XR industry. Demonstrated experience working on GIS-related projects is a significant advantage. Prior experience interacting directly with clients and managing project requirements. Plus Familiarity with AR/VR hardware and deployment processes. Experience in handling large geospatial datasets. Experience in working on Simulator Projects Perks Competitive salary and benefits.
