Job Description
Dear Candidate, We are hiring Web Developer role.Web Developer Job Purpose: The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. A Web Developer is responsible for the coding, design and layout of a website according to a companys specifications. As the role takes into consideration user experience and function, a certain level of both graphic design and computer programming is necessary. Once a website has been created, a Web Developer will generally assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the website. Web Developer Job Duties:
-Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
-Hands on experience on CMS preferably AEM (Adobe Experience Manager / CQ5).
-Candidate must have a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
-The position requires constant communication with colleagues, hence candidates with strong communication skills will be preferred.
-Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built
-Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
- Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services is needed to be successful in this position.
-Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
-Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
-Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
-Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
-Strong communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines Skills/Qualifications: JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Multimedia Content Development, API's
