We have opening for the position of "Project Engineer/Assistant Manager Projects" with one of the reputed Audio Visual company.
Details are as below:
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Qualification: Graduate
Location: Mumbai
Job Description:
Required Skills:
End to end project management of the entire site.
Conduct site surveys.
Develop and manage the A/V project installation schedule.
Work with CAD operator to create CAD drawings, rack elevations, and wiring diagrams.
Coordinate with the project manager and work with team members to create and review work documents.
Coordinate the design, engineering, installation, configuration, integration and test of video conferencing, audio visual equipment (video conferencing, multimedia, audio visual, projection systems, displays, cameras, microphones, integrated A/V systems, IPTV, streaming technologies, etc.) and collaboration technologies.
Coordinate with PMC, Architect, general contractors, electrical contractors, etc to clear dependencies and ensure smooth project flow.
Develop and manage AV project schedule with Gantt chart.
Work with Technician's to mount equipment in the wall and ceiling and build rack with proper cable management.
Work with Programmer to get the project proven and tested.
Update firmware of various devices.
Testing the system throughly before handing over the client.
Responsible for job documentation as needed and compiling, and deliver to the client, an operation manual which explains in detail how to properly operate the installed A/V system and other systems including pictures when available.
Coordinate turn-over of project documentation at the end of the project.
Ability to work on a construction work site.
Have a thorough understanding of technical products and services to support procurement requirements and acquisition documentation.
Written and verbal reports to client and internal stakeholders periodically
Attend review calls as needed
SkillsCTS/CTS-I/CTS-D Certification will be added advantage.
Familiarity with Crestron, AMX, Biamp, Samsung, Planar, Polycom, Cisco, Extron Lutron etc.
Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely manner.
Proven business writing skills.
Proficient with test and calibration equipment.
Support user acceptance testing.
Ability to diagnose complex system problems.
Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of AV equipment
