Position: Airport Ground Staff Location: Multiple Airports Job Type: Full-Time Eligibility: Freshers & Experienced Candidates Salary: Competitive (based on experience) Key Responsibilities: As an Airport Ground Staff, your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the airport, ensuring that passengers have a seamless travel experience. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Passenger Assistance: Greet and assist passengers at the check-in counters, security check, boarding gates, and arrival halls. Provide information regarding flight schedules, delays, and airport facilities. Help passengers with baggage handling and ensure all travel documentation is in order. Assist passengers with special needs and provide necessary support, including escorting passengers who require assistance. Check-In and Ticketing: Handle the check-in process, ensuring passengers are checked in on time and with all necessary documentation. Verify passenger identification, baggage weight, and ensure compliance with airline policies. Assist with the issuance of boarding passes and resolve any issues passengers may face during check-in. Baggage Handling: Oversee the safe loading and unloading of passenger luggage, ensuring that all baggage is handled with care. Ensure timely dispatch and arrival of baggage, and work closely with baggage handling teams to address any discrepancies or delays. Flight Operations: Assist in managing the gate and boarding process, ensuring that passengers board the aircraft efficiently and safely. Collaborate with the cabin crew and flight crew to ensure seamless coordination for on-time departures. Monitor flight schedules and handle any disruptions, including delays or cancellations, and communicate this information to passengers. Safety and Security Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and ensure passengers adhere to all airport security guidelines. Conduct routine checks on the airport premises and ensure compliance with aviation safety protocols. Report any incidents or emergencies to the appropriate authorities. Skills and Qualifications: Educational Qualifications: Fresh graduates or candidates with a diploma in aviation or hospitality management will be preferred, though not mandatory. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus). Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all passengers. Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
