Who You Will Work With Bains Sustainability Center of Excellence (CoE) plays a pivotal role in advancing the firms sustainability program and contributing to the ESG submissions and disclosures. This position offers significant autonomy to generate insights, analyze and improve ESG metrics, recommend sustainability initiatives, drive impactful strategies, and support organizational goals through innovative solutions and data-driven recommendations. The Analyst applies technical skills to implement automated solutions with coding and AI tools. The Analyst will be an integral part of the Reporting team, working closely with the Associates under the guidance of Project Leader, building an impactful sustainability reporting process for Bain. This will involve interacting daily with senior stakeholders at Bain, including Practice Directors and the Chief Sustainability Officer, ensuring alignment, and driving meaningful progress on sustainability initiatives. What You'll do Sustainability expertise Develop expertise in ESG-related frameworks, including CDP, EcoVadis, GRI, and WBCSD, to ensure accurate and comprehensive sustainability reporting. Apply industry best practices to ensure compliance and contribute to effective sustainability reporting process. Data analysis and Insight generation Proficiently identify and use relevant analytical tools to deliver zero-defect outputs across all workstreams, ensuring quality and reliability in reporting and analysis. Synthesize insights from data trends and patterns to identify key opportunities and risks. Communication and Stakeholder engagement Clearly articulate findings, insights, and implications to both internal and external stakeholders through concise and impactful communication. Strong technical writing skills to effectively communicate ESG data, methodologies, and insights in reports, policies, and disclosures. Work closely with Associates and Project Leaders to resolve complex issues across workstreams, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Technical proficiency Leverage advanced data analytics tools, including Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and / or Tableau Prep to analyze data and create impactful visualizations. Identify ways to leverage AI in our everyday processes, enhancing the efficiency of the team. About You Bachelors degree with ~0-2 years of experience, preferably having an ESG exposure. Advanced excel, power-point and data analytics skills and familiarity with Tableau and/or Alteryx; Background in data analytics / data science or engineering is strongly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks, summarize and generate clear recommendations. Exceptional team collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environment.,
