Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Layout & Piping System Design:

  • Develop detailed plant layouts and piping system designs using software tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or other 3D modeling software.
  • Ensure optimal pipe routing, accessibility, and space utilization while maintaining compliance with project requirements.

• Project Analysis & Specification Development:

  • Analyze project needs and incorporate engineering requirements into the piping system design.
  • Develop and implement project specifications, piping standards, and design guidelines to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Compliance & Safety Assurance:

  • Ensure that all designs comply with engineering codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct stress analysis on piping systems to confirm their durability under operational and environmental conditions.

• Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of piping systems within plant layouts.
  • Provide technical guidance during the design, installation, and commissioning phases of the project.

• Installation & Maintenance Oversight:

  • Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of plant piping systems to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Identify and address any issues or challenges encountered during the construction or maintenance stages.

• Documentation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of designs, specifications, installation procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in plant layout and piping design.
