Job Description
- Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the network and security architecture of the organization Analyze and implement new security protocols to improve performance against threats or malfunctions Resolve existing security issues, including hardware malfunctions Lead network security design for cloud solutions, including automation to support cloud expansion and network segmentation strategy Monitor network security products and protocols and report on findings Guide and mentor other members of the security team Implement firewall rules in our network firewalls Education Bachelors degree in computer science, programming, or a related field Required Skills and Experience 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining a fully operational firewall solution Experience with networking technologies (routing, switching, VLANs, subnets, etc.) Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages and working with APIs Advanced knowledge of information security concepts, trends, and practices Advanced understanding of networking (subnetting, routing, and switching) Expertise with a variety of security products, including firewalls, URL filtering, and virus protection Strong communication skills and ability to express technical concepts in clear and simple terms Job Type: Temporary Contract length: 12 months Experience: Network security: 4 years (Required) Work Location: In person,
